The video is a documentation of the various tribal and folk dances of India. In this film, the focus is on dances from the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. The Tapu dance from Arunachal Pradesh is performed by members of the Adi tribe. The dance begins when two people chant invocations to the spirits. The Sangphao is a dance of the Sangtam Naga tribe of Nagaland which is performed as preparation for a hunting expedition. The Nati is a folk dance of Himachal Pradesh while the Dhanger dance comes from the Dhanger community of Goa. In South Canara in Karnataka, the Bhoota dance or spirit dance is performed. The Abuj Maria tribe in Madhya Pradesh perform the Kaksar dance.
