The video features recordings of wind instruments of India recorded and archived by the Sangeet Natak Akademi. These wind instruments come from all parts of India. Some classical wind instruments are the shehnai from North India.The shehnai is played in Raga Puriya. The North Indian flute is played in Raga Bhupali while the South Indian flute is played in Raga Hamsadhwani. The nagaswaram is from South India and it is played in Raga Sidhumandari. The sundari from Karnataka is played in Raga Bhairavi. Besides the classical wind instruments, the recording includes folk wind instruments like the surnai, mashak, algoza, narh and bankia from Rajasthan, khangling and thunchen from the Himalayan region and the khung from Manipur. The other wind instruments are shankh from Orissa, pungi from Haryana, pavri from Maharashtra, mohuri from Bihar, kol from West Bengal, ransinga and limbu from Himachal Pradesh.
