General Description

This cave is unfinished. Work did not progress beyond the main entrance. By looking at the cave, you get to know how the caves at Ajanta were made. These cave complexes were scooped out of the rockface - and portions of the rock were given rough shapes. Simultaneously, the sculptors also created beautiful carvings on the elements in the cave like the pillars or doorways.
