Painted in the right aisle of Cave 2, sharing the wall with Vidhura and following the same style, this painting is fairly intact. Notice how architectural features are used to separate one narrative from the one adjacent to it.
The story is of Pūrṇa, who is born to a wealthy merchant and a slave woman. He overcomes several obstacles and troubles to finally become a Buddhist teacher. He, along with his brothers, builds a temple and invites the Buddha to visit it.
