Description :

This painting is found in Cave 1 on the left aisle. The style and form of the painting is similar to that of Janaka. So much so that it has been mistaken to be a continuous narrative.


Story:

During an arduous journey Prince Kalyāṇakārin is blinded by his brother who runs away with all the valuables. Kalyāṇakārin eventually meet a beautiful princess, recovers his sight and makes the journey back to his kingdom to reclaim his position.
