This painting is found in three caves. The story serves as a beautiful allegory and is shown in four to five scenes.


Story:

The royal elephant in the rutting season abandons the King during a hunt in the forest. The elephant eventually proves his obediance to the king. The story is a contemplation on the powerful nature of latent passions and the need to overcome them through the Buddhist path.
