They usually have a curved tip.
These swords have a slender blade with a round pommel and are sheathed.
These long thin blades had lavishly ornamented pommels.
With curved quillon and a knobbed pommel, they are examples of excellent craftsmanship.
The swords are hung from sword belts - probably made from leather and fastened with metal buckles.
